The first time I ever heard the Soundpower General mallet I was amazed at the sound it produced. It simply blew away the other mallets we had. I've used many different BD mallets over the years, and none compared to the Soundpower. So I bought it. I couldn't be happier with it. First of all, it is only $19 (as of this writing). Secondly, the long red handles not only look great, but feel great as well. Lastly, the tone is a nice full and balanced sound. Very rich. This is a must have for a general all-purpose mallet!
