Black Swamp is proud to announce the additions of several new materials used in their Pro Concert Castanet Series. This version is a 2 5/8" size with Cocobolo wood used in the castanets themselves.
Cocobolo castanets blend resonance and articulation into a balanced alternative to traditional castanet options. The unique handle design lets you articulate rhythms in the air or on your knee, and allows the castanets to properly seat against one another, retaining the full resonance of the internal chamber. The Micro-Adjust tone control allows Black Swamp castanets to sound beautiful at any dynamic. Simply turn the knob to adjust the action for louder or softer dynamics.
