What other Percussionists have to say about A. Putnam Mallets
"A. PUTNAM MALLETS marimba, timpani, and bass drum line offer a wide range of choices for every performance situation. The capability to customize mallets and fashion them to individual requirements makes A. PUTNAM MALLETS a great choice for any professional or student player. I use them and recommend them enthusiastically!"
Gregory Zuber, Principal Percussionist of The MET Orchestra, Professor of Percussion at The Juilliard School

" A. PUTNAM MALLETS makes mallets the old fashion way: with care, integrity, and total control of all essential elements that make up a consummate mallet. Ms. Putnam has elevated the system of recovering mallets into an art form."
Jonathan L. Haas, Solo Timpanist with the American Composers Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra, Aspen Music Festival, New York Chamber Symphony, and Peabody Institute

"Putnam mallets are made with outstanding workmanship and quality materials. The mallets are made personally by Amy Putnam, a fine player in her own right, who clearly understands the needs of other players. Her custom wrapping/design service lets all players design mallets to their sound concepts and personal specifications. Her mallets are excellent for all the orchestral repertoire and I use them exclusively in the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra."
Keith Aleo, Principal Percussion, Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, Director of Percussion Studies, Interlochen Arts Festival

"I'm into purity of sound. These are absolutely perfect."
Ben Thomas, Seattle vibist
